Publisher Studio is where you turn a world into a document you can actually hand to someone: a client proposal, a report, a public page. It's a distinct authoring surface, not just an export button bolted onto the graph.
It's free, and so is publishing your first live share link. The line is that building a document and making it look right cost nothing, and the ways of getting it out to somebody are what Pro is for: more than one link live at a time, pushing a new version to a link you have already sent, downloading the whole thing as an HTML file, and presenting it full screen. See Account & Billing for the full picture.
The page editor formats text the way most document tools do, separately from the regular node-notes editor in Right Panel (Notepad). Select any text and a small toolbar appears over it for bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, alignment, text colour and links. The bar along the top sets the paragraph style (paragraph, headings, quote, lists), and Page style on its right holds everything that applies to the whole document: the font, the text size (Small, Medium or Large, with headings and spacing scaling to match), the page width (Narrow, Standard or Wide) and the palette (see Publisher Studio: Page Style). It also supports multi-column layouts, and a slash menu kept deliberately narrow (headings, quote, lists, paragraph, divider) since this is for finished documents, not freeform notes.
Two square brackets works here too, and does the same thing it does in notes: you get a hyperlink from one page to another, useful for a contents page or a cross-reference in a long document. It's a link, not a connector, so writing and rewriting a document never rearranges the graph behind it.
Ctrl+Tab flips between the Publisher and the Space Studio, even while you're typing. With two pages selected, C connects them, and with one it asks for the other end, while a c typed in a page is still just a c. The full list is in Shortcuts.
Each page can have a cover image. Click "+ Add cover image" above the page title. Once set, you get Reposition (drag to adjust the crop vertically), Change, and Remove controls. It's stored directly on the node, so it travels with the page if you move or rename things.
Present, in the toolbar under the graph, fills the screen with your structure and turns it slowly for a room to look at while people take their seats. It works the same way in the documents you share and export. See Publisher Studio: Presenting.
When you're ready to get the finished document out into the world, see Publisher Studio: Sharing.
